The first run of bears we make from fresh molds are unpredictable and wild. It takes time and repetition to tame new molds. For this reason we use new molds as an opportunity to experiment with pattern until the molds become (somewhat) predictable.
When we make new molds for Da Bears we make them in batches of 9. Until these new molds cool out we use them to make free-style bears that are not part of our regular collection. Each bear you purchase gives you one randomly selected bear from this batch of 9.
This colourway is called, “September Sunset Soccer” It tells the story of the soccer field I walk past on my way home from work. In the evenings there’s a beautiful sunset in September, the lights cast an acid halide glow on the turf, the sunset peaks out from behind spruce trees, framed by midnight blue.
Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Concrete is wild like you. Each piece is made by hand, no two are the same. Pattern will vary slightly per batch.
